The main building, sleeping cabins and a sauna heated using wood. Visitors use two gas stove in kitchen and at the same time solar panels provide lighting. Mountaineers can wash themselves in sauna located directly in mountain stream.

Lodges windproof, snow and did not require treatment for decades. Interior uses lot of wood which creates warm and friendly atmosphere. All buildings have glass walls with views beautiful surrounding landscape.

Rectangular main building contains a kitchen, living room and sleeping facilities accommodate 30 to 35 climbers. Each small cottage can accommodate five climbers. The rooms in main building structured to encourage social interaction. Mountain lodges open to all visitors and pedestrians in August.

Stavanger Turistforening is an association which is membership 25,000 people ordered KOKO Architects provide the outdoor activities and eco-friendly facilities for young and old. In accordance the ethos association these alpine lodge operates system based on trust.
