Strategies types to keep room cool has added benefits and provide soothing atmosphere to treat and cure serious diseases such as cancer. Screen guarding building remains cool by reflecting sunlight while keeping fixed panoramic maximization.

Design integrates natural beauty of landscape and meet the needs patients and their staff. L-shaped five-floor building consists of rectilinear volume surrounded by life garden. Pallets of glass, metal and stone look different as facade based on path of sunlight.

Temperatures in Phoenix regularly over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) in summer and the east and west elevation exposed to intense sunlight. Sheath facade to relieve heat, while keep allowing natural light to enter building.

"Perforated panels and copper-colored building envelop as if to symbolize protective layer of heat and outcome for patients in," said ZGF Architects.

South-facing elevation clad in metal panels and horizontal fin with frit glass solid, while the north side features using glass. Travertine stone building base wrap up into main waiting room. Each floor dedicated to particular type of cancer with complementary functions.

Each department has its own reception area, offices and meeting rooms. Lounge waiting rooms feature contemporary décor and wall white oak. Natural materials and restful color scheme applied throughout interior to help generate hospitality atmosphere.

"The look and feel of interior more like hotel or spa with elegantly designed lobby, windows from floor to ceiling, valet parking and coffee bar," said ZGF.
