Biodegradable coating can be added so the structure is waterproof and protected by rain for three hours. To test the ability, Shiffer brought to laboratory accident at Imperial College London and passed the European safety standards.

"EcoHelmet has gone through several stages of development to arrive at design that works very well and look good. Early prototype work, but it looks like pineapple, intermediate prototype looks great but messy," said Shiffer.

"The final stage, three-block design is fully functional and stylish leather helmet in the 1970s. It's important for me to maintain the lowest possible price and universal display," said Shiffer.
