Cybreed designed eFishery for automatic fish feeding use data of species, biomass, behavior and internet connected

Tinuku ~ eFishery is a feeder fish automatically using algorithms and sensors connected to the internet to improve feed efficiency in business of freshwater fishery of all fish and shrimp. PT. Multidaya Technology Nusantara or Cybreed designing automation scheduled feeding, proper dosage and recording in real-time events in the ponds.

Cybreed have completed the final design and ready to market a feeding device the fish and shrimp automatically and measurable. Tool automatic feeding has been commonly used in fish farming and aquaculture, but eFishery first laid connectivity to Internet network, features a feeding program, glut detection sensors and fish behavior data.

"The hand-feeding method system immediately threw a bucket of feed into the pond. When the feed is submerged in water, nutrient loss is 98 percent within one hour. The fish eat, but nutrition is lost. eFishery proven to reduce the amount of feed needed to produce food conversion ratio of up to 24% in efficiency," said Gibran Huzaefah, CEO Cybreed.

eFishery using apps on Android phone and the user adjust the frequency, schedule and dosage of feed. Fish pond owners can also upload the amount of feed used to internet server to reference data in the future. Application also features a feeding program for every type of fish for example tilapia, carp, catfish or shrimp.

"Every species has a rate is percentage of feed needed by total biomass. The percentage changes from the early stages when seed to the stage of harvest. Four percent of total biomass at the beginning and two percent of total biomass at harvest, changes and predict mortality. We woke up in the algorithm," said Huzaefah.

Feed a major problem for farmers because of spending up to 70 percent of total production costs. eFishery take advantage of real-time system monitoring and record everything that happens in the ponds. The report then can help fish farmers to know the needs and the actual feed costs.

"Uploading the data feed to internet server allows information associated with other variables such as weather and water quality. We want to provide data-based information to stakeholders such as feed manufacturers, owners of fishponds and fish consumers. The goal is efficiency, transparency and traceability," said Huzaefah.
