Tinuku ~ Online motorcycle taxi GOJEK ready to receive funds of $1 billion and fight giant transport applications online will be more strong in domestic market. Grab and Uber ready to expand in the local market and PT Gojek Indonesia as one of the local players do not want to miss.

Transportation applications online company PT Gojek Indonesia reportedly preparing to receive funding of up to 1 billion US dollars. GOJEK investors wish granting the funding could allow GOJEK has smashed to compete among the competitors.

Grab Indonesia as one of the main contenders already launched the Grab for Indonesia program until 2020. Grab Investors are also ready to disburse funds up to 700 million US dollars to build a research and development center in Indonesia's fourth largest.

Until this news was written, the GOJEK Indonesia management has not made a formal statement about this plan. In 2016 GOJEK also received additional funds of up to 550 million dollars from various investors are KKR, Warburg Pincus, and Farrallon Capital.

GOJEK established by Nadiem Makarim in 2010 is a technology company serving transit via motorcycle taxi services. Gojek services available in Jakarta, Bali, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, Medan, Palembang, Semarang, Solo, Malang, Yogyakarta, Balikpapan and Manado.
