Passengers should be familiarized sit in different ways such as perch and semi-stand. The new design can increase seating capacity up to 30 percent each train. Head studio Paul Priestman said it was time to re-evaluate density of seats on public transport systems around the world.

Model Island Bay offers traditional seating for multiple trips, despite prompting some passengers to stand during peak hours. Four passengers sit facing each other around small table and an extra chair with padded backrest semi stand.
