Tinuku ~ Amanjiwo Resort Hotel is monumental building was built in middle of nature by using sandstone inspired Borobudur Temple and culture of Central Java.

Hotel located in village Majaksingi, Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia, designed by Edward Tuttle. Neoclassical design takes concept of Borobudur, both in terms material and outline shape like mini-Borobudur stupa with building rotunda.

Restaurant and bar room filled with large mandala motifs that exist at Borobudur temple as the wooden sliding doors and lighting arrangements. Interior design also taking the motif for every quilt and pillows.

Furniture using sungkai wood, coconut wood and rattan as the raw material tables and chairs. Some appear wooden panels on the walls can be seen from brownish color fits perfectly with natural designs.

The main building framed by 35 suites arranged in two circles rotate gracefully around central rotunda. Wall of sandstone connect the suite to main building and the pool.

Terrazzo floors, high ceilings, domed roof and sliding glass doors open on to garden terrace. All thatched bale pavilion with daybed for relaxing outdoors and for dining.

Interior includes a bed has four main pillars that lifted terrazzo, paneling sungkai wood, coconut wood and rattan furniture. Pillows wrapped in cloth Yogyakarta batik-style classic and glass with traditional painting.

The bathrooms were stretched from every suite includes a dressing room to shower and sunken outdoor set in walled garden to ensure privacy of each user.

Restaurant creates Hindu epic Mahabharata scene by displaying colors golden yellow and brown, but panoramic view toward the fields and Borobudur temple surrounded Menoreh Mountains, Mount Merapi, Merbabu, Sindoro and Sumbing.

Large library and filled with light downlight and spotlight with daybeds for two people. Art galleries blend with natural surroundings and the pool has an area of 40 square meters with line pattern using green stone.
