Tinuku ~ Britain's oldest brewery Shepherd Neame inaugurate the new brand identity. Brewery, established in 1698 has been given a contemporary twist by consulting agency JDO Brand & Design.

The oldest beer in the United Kingdom launched a fresh identity. The new branding project Shepherd Neame impact on all areas of family businesses, including the historic beer, pub signage at 330 pubs and hotels, marketing collateral and certain beer brands.

Premium look and now reflects the relationship with the renowned Kent hop, modern typography convey the character of Shepherd Neame to keep the roots and strong principles. Reference official founding date in 1698 is the oldest beer may not be removed.

This new visual identity aims to create a more contemporary brand of the company, while retaining its heritage. Shepherd Neame was founded in 1698 in Faversham, Kent, and had a beer brands such as Spitfire, Whitstable Bay and Finger Bishop.

The new rebranding remove the color palette of red, blue, orange and white being just gray and gold. Icon staff updated to include hop leaf and gold added to the logo to associate elements of traditional crafts.

"We have given traditional curves of more natural, organic feel of the hop leaf detail. Many companies are now serving beer lines be simple, so we try to add finesse and refers to craft and quality." said Ray Smith, director JDO Brand Design and Innovation.

"Elements of design features make the brand more contemporary like wider spacing between letters and more modern. Simplification could allow logo placed on every platform," said Smith.
