MAD Architects has revealed classical music hall building permanent headquarters for Chinese symphony orchestra provides optimum musical experience into cultural space to promote unity among people, music and nature.

Studio ensure design philharmonic hall buildings located in 26,587 square meter site next to Workers Stadium in Beijing's central business district as first permanent palace for China Philharmonic Orchestra.

Architectural designers in cooperation with acoustics designer Yasuhisa Toyota, MAD taking points facades reminiscent of jade piece appeared on greenery and water. Visualize terrace siring translating nature as concept of natural light and feeling flowers in bloom.

Buildings take place of classical music contain major concert halls and training rooms divided in two floors. D-shaped main room, while smaller room containing training centers. Entire structure encased facade of translucent and undulating to provide insight into lotus pond and green garden.

"We present pure and natural oasis in middle bustling city. From the moment people enter building, they will be taken another time and space," said MAD founder Ma Yansong.

"Audience going through transition from urban setting to music in nature atmosphere, preparing them for self discovery journey. Facade shows landscape like a piece of jade. While walking past the building, people paralleled soft light," said Yansong.

The lobby curved wrap around main concert hall will be bathed in diffuse light from translucent facade. White spiral staircase will lead audience to terrace with access to upstairs seating.

Main concert hall large enough to 1,600 seat. Pods wooden seating around the stage and stood in line front of it, the layout organizes lenskap vineyard. A series petal-shaped acoustical panels designed to resemble lotus flower segments covering ceiling.

"Natural light coming from above stimulates feel of being in middle of flower bloom. Lighting and visuals projected onto white petals and choreograph musical performances match," said the studio.

Indoor hall for 400 seats filled for preparation exercise took place beside lotus pond on south side building. Interior featuring curved wooden walls and sound reflection panels tailored to optimize sound.

Reflective panel located behind stage lifted to allow natural light and city views. Building also hosts to recording studio, library, gallery, office and exercise room. Construction expected complete in 2019.
