Apple patent for fingerprint power button scanning

Tinuku ~ Apple Inc. gets the fingerprint patent on the power button. IPhone 8 is rumored to be present without Home buttton and Touch ID possibly moved to the power button. Now the technology giant has gained a patent that hints at a possible new location for fingerprint sensors.

The power button patent is submitted in mid 2015, while Sony launches the Xperia Z5 by the end of 2015 using the fingerprint scanner feature on the power button. But Sony has disabled that functionality in the United States to reduce the possibility of patent disputes.

The fingerprint scanner system on the power button promises smaller structures than ever before and allows it to be mounted on buttons even on the side of the phone with a thin bezel.

The power button can be positioned above or the original power button of iPhone 5 and seems to be another option, but placement also allows for other alternatives. This technology can be covered with protective glass or even sapphire.

Other Apple patents show biometric sensors that lurk beneath the touch screen through transparent biometric finger sensing pixels and acoustic imaging systems.

The deal will also help PayPal provide a more comprehensive suite of services to its merchants, while PayPal that operates in the next 200 countries allows iZettle to accelerate its international expansion including the US. Foxconn unit to raise $4.2 billion IPO in Shanghai

Foxconn unit to collect US$4.2 billion in an IPO on the Shanghai stock exchange. Taiwan's Foxconn Industrial Internet as one of Foxconn's electronics manufacturing giant units that makes cloud services and industrial robot equipment will float 10% of total shares in an initial public offering in China on Thursday aiming to raise 27.1 billion yuan as China's biggest mainland debut for three year.

Taipei-based Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. is the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer, a major supplier of components and assembler products by international brands including Apple and Sony. Foxconn Industrial Internet will launch 1.97 billion new shares at 13.77 yuan per share to raise 27.1 billion yuan (US$4.2 billion).
