Ola Play customers will see the Zomato micro app on the infotainment system in the car and allow ordering food while they are still on the go. Users also read restaurant reviews and explore where they want to visit will get the option to order an Ola taxi through the app.

"Mobility is an important part of the overall dining experience and Ola brings together the widest network and vehicle choices in 110 cities across India. Ola's unique package from Ola Money to Ola Play to our customers," says Mukund Kulashekaran, Zomato's Head of Business for online reservations.

The two technology companies also agreed to bring Ola Money, a mobile wallet service as a payment option in the Zomato service. The payment wallet previously used by Zomato is FreeCharge, MobiKwik, and Paytm.

Ola said the Zomato partners will also create a special zone from which customers order food. The company did not explain how much and how the special zone would be applied. This partnership is a victory for Ola considering Zamato has just ended his partnership with Uber.

"We make it easy to scroll through the Zomato app while enjoying an Ola Play ride and paying through Ola Money on various Zomato properties. This partnership is a win-win for users," said Saurabh Mishra, Ola's Director Alliance.
