Daimler brings Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet to Monterey
The exterior features strong structural elements with a sharp feature line in nearly six meters. Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet was first announced in August last year combining the proportion of classic art deco design with a very long bonnet with a flowing puristic line.
Daimler AG claims the electric powertrain has an output of 550 kW (750 hp) with acceleration 0-100 km per hour (0-62 mph) in under four seconds, top speed limited to 250 km per hour (155 mph), and mileage over 500 kilometers.
"The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet takes modern luxury into the realms of the ultimate in luxury, and is the perfect embodiment of our design strategy. Breathtaking proportions combined with a luxurious 'haute couture' interior help to create the ultimate experience," said Chief Design Officer of Daimler AG, Gorden Wagener.
Cabriolet translates emotionally sensual designs and innovative techniques to define the luxuries of futuristic mobility. The two-seater model respects the masterpiece of executive and exclusive design. The glamorous impression reinterpreted the principle of classical aesthetic design and intelligent technology into a unity of future lifestyles.
The curved base body offers a sporty, stretched design that is characterized by strong structural elements in conjunction with a sharp feature line. This side-line line defines the vehicle body of the top of the front grille across the entire length of the vehicle to the rear.
