YouTube says the average video has more than 30,000 views per minute in the first 24 hours with an hourly display of over 3 million. On Wednesdays, the video views have exceeded 66 million impressions.

The music video begins when Swift crawls out of the grave, declares it has long died and restored the entire musical personality. The techno-beat rapper single is the first of the new Swift album to be released in November called "Reputation."

Swift has plenty of time to break the all time YouTube music video record held by Luis Fonsi's global hit in 2017 in the "Despacito" video that surpassed the 3 billion mark in early August.
