SanDisk released 400GB microSD

Western Digital's SanDisk Corp. launched a 400Gb microSD. The memory giant headquartered in Milpitas on Thursday morning August 31, 2017 at the IFA 2017 Berlin conference announcing the newly launched high capacity microSD card. SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I 400GB offers 144GB more storage than any other microSD card on the market.

SanDisk broke new records in the world's highest capacity microSD market of its kind and is ideal for use on Android smartphones that have expansion slots. The new card also supports 100MB read speeds, A1 app performance, and UHS Speed Class 1 for the best available performance.

"We continue to push the boundaries of technology and change the way consumers use their mobile devices. Focus on new technologies, we enable consumers to follow a mobile-centric lifestyle with storage solutions," said Sven Rathjen, vice president of Western Digital product marketing.

The SanDisk 400Gb microSD card stores up to 40 hours of 1080p HD video and offers transfer speeds up to 100MB/s and is also designed to meet A1 specifications for flash memory which means it can load and run applications faster while operating like internal or organic storage.

The new Memory is estimated to have a price of US$250 and SanDisk provides a limited warranty of up to 10 years which means they have guaranteed the durability for the use of time is uninterrupted without any disruption and a reasonable price.
