Universities in Belarus rolling out syllabus for cryptocurrencies and ICO

Belarusian universities have begun to open diplomas covering crypto where the country a few days ago legalized cryptocurrencies, the market of initial coin offerings (ICOs), futures contracts and other derivative businesses. Educational institutions hope to produce businessmen and engineers for the futuristic currency.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has legalized cryptocurrencies, ICOs and futures contracts, including providing tax incentives to crypto investors. Tinuku.com reported that the government had signed a digital economy package to boost investment a few days ago.

Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) headquartered in Minsk announced a diploma course in the field of crypto. The college since 1920 is the main technical education institution in Belarus. Syllabus includes operation of cryptocurrencies, future cryptocurrencies, use of blockchain technology, and ICO as an alternative IPO.

The public says the Belarus government's decision and the college move as the right decision, but some of the other people say it's a 'step too late' to catch up on crypto and change world faster.
