Lazada, Tokopedia, Shopee, and Blibli the top four Indonesia 2017

iPrice Group released an analysis of the events and competition of Indonesia's e-commerce based on Google, the number of visitors, mobile apps and social media. Lazada, Tokopedia, Shopee, and Blibli have the largest number of monthly visitors to 2017 where they have more resources to drive more sales.

iPrice Group collected data from Similarweb in January to November to rank the top 10 e-commerce based on the average number of visitors per month in each quarter where Lazada, Tokopedia, Shopee and Blibli topped the top four.

Lazada and Tokopedia always occupy the first and second. The company is in the top position after doing a lot of online promotions including an anniversary in March, June promo, 11.11 promo and 12.12 Harbolnas promo in 4th quarter. Tokopedia maintained its second position which launched a train ticket booking system in January and partnered with Unilever in February.

Shopee this year entered the top three e-commerce in Indonesia from the seventh position in the previous year. The company launched a vast number of programs, campaigns, and aggressive promotions to increase the number of visitors.

In the fourth position is Blibli which rose one level. The e-commerce supported by the Djarum Group was in 5th place in Q1 and Q2, but during Q3 and Q4 it climbed to 4th position. Blibli this year acquired Indonesia Flight and Tiket.com, also partnered with Unilever.
