Xiaomi's Yeelight Voice Assistant for $30 hit market in January

Xiaomi scheduled the Yeelight Voice Assistant to use artificial intelligence for US$30 to hit market on January 31st. Smart speakers will use Microsoft's Cortana and Amazon's Alexa virtual assistants equipped with 6 microphones, 2 watt speakers, quad core 64 bit 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM and 256 MB of storage.

Xiaomi's Yeelight Voice Assistant is enabled with voice commands from a distance of 5 meters and is only available in China for now. Each of Cortana and Alexa have different skills where the dual AI integration allows this smart leveraging device to utilize both at once.

Tinuku Xiaomi's Yeelight Voice Assistant for $30 hit market in January

Yeelight is a subsidiary of Xiaomi. A similar device that used Cortana's personal digital assistant was first used on Invoke by Harman Kardon for a much higher price of US$199 that took its debut this year.

Just like the ranks of the Amazon Echo intelligent speakers, Xiaomi can also be used to control smart home products such as smart LED lamps where Yeelight is known as a smart home device maker, although this is the first time with the concept of intelligent voice-controlled speakers.
