Wuling Motors showcases E100 electric cars at GIIAS 2018

Tinuku - Wuling Motors introduced electric cars at the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in Jakarta. Wuling E100 has a maximum power of 29 kW with 110 Nm of torque, a maximum speed of 100 kph and a speed of 0-50 kph in 6.5 seconds has been launched in China with a total sales of up to 11,000 units in January-May 2018.

E100 is similar to Smart ForTwo by Mercedes Benz. The car has a length of 2,488 mm, a width of 1,506, and a height of 1,670 mm using a 220 volt lithium-ion battery to reach 200 kilometers in a single charge, although Wuling has not embed fast charging technology where the charging time is around 9 hours.

The front wheel drive (FWD) system applies electric power steering (EPS) equipped with disc brakes on each wheel, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic brakeforce and distribution (EBD), as well as electronic stability control (ESC). SRS Airbags are available for the front seat and ISOFIX to secure additional child seats in the car.

E100 also features electronic parking brake (EPB) is a modern brake that operates electrically. Rear camera is a monitor screen that will display the environment of the camera behind. Rear parking sensors on the rear bumper have two sonars for distance detection with other vehicles.
