With the release of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, it is almost certain that Apple will continue with the release of its phones in sets of threes. The iPhones share similar qualities and some differences too. Here is a review of what you should expect – 

iPhone XR
Design
This iPhone comes in a wider variety of colors which are Red, white, yellow, black, blue, and coral. The iPhone XR shares a similar look with an iPhone 8 attributed to its slightly elevated single-lens camera. Around its edges is an aluminum frame and its glass supports wireless charging. It features thicker bezels than the iPhone X, and holding it feels very comfortable. The iPhone XR can stay for about 30 minutes underwater with its water resistance feature.
Screen
The iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD screen referred to as Liquid Retina HD display by Apple. It has a resolution of 1,792 x 828 which is about 326 pixels for every inch but still gives a sharp look to screen content. Its wide color display is built to support True Tone, allowing the color of the screen to adapt to light from its environment.
Performance and iOS
The iPhone XR is powered by the A12 bionic processor from Apple which has a neural engine that is next-gen with 8 cores. Every second, its chip is capable of processing about 5 trillion operations. It comes with a superb gesture system for navigating its operating system as it has no home button. iOS 12 is run on the iPhone XR.
Battery Life
The iPhone XR beats the iPhone 8 Plus' battery life by 1hr 30mins and as such can last about a single day according to Apple.
Camera
The iPhone XR sports a 12-megapixel camera, stabilization for optical images, a new improved sensor, an aperture of f/1.8, portrait mode, and also smart HDR. Its portrait mode has a strong blur effect and portrait lighting features, while its smart HDR can capture multiple photos at once and combines the best into one photo. Stereo sound can also be recorded using the camera. The iPhone XR sports a 7-megapixel front camera that comes with an aperture of f/2.2 and no shutter lag.
Price 
The price of the iPhone XR begins at $750 and it sports storage variations of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. October 26 will see its arrival but pre-orders begin on October 19.

iPhone XS
Design
With so much similarity to the iPhone X, its new gold color gives its edges an elegant look while its rear is almost pinkish and changes color in various kinds of light. It now has only 3 holes at the phones left edge in order to accommodate an antenna band for quicker and stronger internet connection. It has a more durable glass and an incredibly strong stainless steel frame. Its gesture system for navigating the iOS is highly intuitive and it can be unlocked using Face ID which offers more protection than the Touch ID. 
Screen
The iPhone XS sports a 5.8 inch OLED screen and a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125, which is 458 pixels for every inch and gives its content a sharp look. The screen is wide enough for most people and it supports the True Tone by apple to enable the screen to match the lights from the environment. 
Performance and iOS
The iPhone XS runs on the A12 Bionic processor by Apple which contains about 6.9 billion transistors for efficient and better performance. Its Neural Engine contains 8 cores with the ability to handle 5 trillion per-second operations. It is also paired with the iOS 12.
Camera
The iPhone XS comes with camera improvements. It features a back camera of 12 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8 and a telephoto lens of 12 megapixels and aperture of f/2.4. Snapping comes with almost no lag and its smart HDR ensures that your photos are balanced. Depth Control in Portrait Mode allows blur intensity to be changed or removed. The iPhone XS sports a 7-megapixel front camera that comes with an aperture of f/2.2.
Battery Life
The iPhone XS sports a 2,658 mAh battery which can last for about a single day. Due to its coil design, fast wireless charging is not supported. 
Price
Its price begins from $999 upwards and comes in variations from 64GB to 512GB.

iPhone XS Max
Design
Both the iPhone XS Max and the XS version have very much the same features besides the screen size and battery features. Therefore, their designs are also very similar. The iPhone XS Max has an edge-to-edge design and has a notch at the top to accommodate True Depth camera for Face ID. The gold color variant gives it an elegant appearance with a pinkish rear. There are now four holes at the left edge which has been reduced to accommodate an antenna band for improved internet connection. Its Stainless Steel frame is very strong and it has a very durable glass. It also has a very intuitive gesture system for navigation.
Screen 
The iPhone XS Max has an expansive screen with a taller screen than the iPhone 8 Plus. It sports a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a sharp 2,688 x 1,242 resolution which is 458 pixels for every inch. With True Tone by Apple, the screen automatically adjusts to surrounding light.
Performance and iOS

The iPhone XS Max has a 12-megapixel back camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and a telephoto lens of 12 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.4 which are both stabilized for optical images and zero lag when snapping. Its Smart HDR and Depth control are similar to the iPhone XS. The iPhone XS Max sports a 7-megapixel front camera that comes with an aperture of f/2.2.
Battery Life
The iPhone XS Max's battery capacity is the biggest at 3,174 mAh and supports wireless charging.
Price
The iPhone XS Max begins from $1,099 up to $1,449 depending on the storage variant which includes 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
